Psalms 116:5 “Mothers hold their children’s hand for a while, their heart she holds forever” With deep sorrow but in acceptance of God’s will, we hereby announce that Letitia Lenora Martes-Phillips (Mother Martes, Mom) has peacefully gone to be with the Lord at the blessed age of 96 years.Left to mourn are: Her sister: Alice Romney & family (St Barths) Her children: Yvonne Mohammed-Romney and family (USA) Sonia Martes (Holland) Joan Eccles-Martes and family (Curacao) Gilbert Martes and family (Aruba) Johnny Martes and family (Aruba) Letty Pattipeilohy-Martes (Holland) Hetty van Lierop and family (Curacao) Lourdes Mangal-Martes (USA) Caroline Martes and son (Aruba) Her grandchildren: Merlyn, Marie, Nettie, Nafeeza, Susan, Lisa, Gineke, Reginald, Christopher, Jeremy, Hadassah, Naomi, Priscilla, Reuben, Timothy, Zefania, Jonathan, Daniel, Michael, Mitchell, Jennifer and Cherry -Anne. Her greatgrands: Amber, Emmanuel, Silas, Ellis and Shawn Nieces and nephews: Sonia, Basil, Silvia, Anita, Carl, Brenda, Arnold, Harry, Lucien, Arlette, Clarion, Margery, Serge, Donia, Blondell, Joanie, Cislyn, Sherian, Grethel, Netty, Hancil, Hamlet, Lynette and Linda. Families: Phillips, Martes, Romney, Hodge, Sepersaude, Eccles, Mohammed, Pattipeilohy, van Lierop, Mangal, Hoepel, Wisehart, Tjon a Meeuw, Gruning, Felida Her beloved pastor Thomasito Gibbs, wife and congregation of the Seed of life Ministries and the brothers and sisters of Emmanuel Church and other congregations and pastor Connor. Her caretakers Carmen, Hilalie, Anne, Persida, Nery and nurses of Wit Gele Kruis and special friends Maritsa, Marva, Viola, Ella and Ana. Also her dear neighbors and other friends to numerous to mention but greatly appreciated. Invite you to assist her home going service on Monday, September 10th, 2012 at 10.30 am at Seed of Life Ministries, Bernard straat 185 in San Nicolas. Her body will be laid out for viewing from 9 to 10.30am. Mom will be laid to rest at the Government cemetery in San Nicolas. Our home is open for condolences on Friday and Saturday at Ic. Wagemakerstraat 105. Our apology if we have overlooked anyone in our time of bereavement. |
